WebDAV & Cookies?

Looking in g_vfs_backend_http_init I see that a "cookie_jar" is created
and even a comment:


  /* Cookie handling - stored temporarlly in memory, mostly useful for
   * authentication in WebDAV. */

But when I access my WebDAV server, which is sending a Set-Cookie
header, I see BASIC authentication every time as though there was no
Cookie.

Can anyone verify if/if-not Cookies are working with the GVFS WebDAV
backend?
