Yup, used to see that a lot when I was using libart.
Failing that, are there libraries better suited to rendering
arbitrary, hand-drawn strokes?
I don't know about hand-drawn strokes, but as a complete vector
library ImageMagick (<http://www.imagemagick.org>) is serving me quite
nicely. It's not as fast as libart for some things, BUT the quality is
better and it supports more features (ie. dashed lines).
