OK, great, so +1 for the awareness thesis :)

That's what I suspected and this is exactly what we need to change urgently.
All knowledge starts with realising that you don't know. So this is
already a vital achievement to point out that there is obviously
knowledge missing among the members.

Right.

For the current state I am already very happy that you second my
suspicion that there is only little knowledge.

Right.
Or even if the developers do not do that themselves it could be one of
the tasks for Gnome/mobile to aggregate such information and put it on
display.

Yes, that would be good.
But on the otehr side, I would currently not want big fuzz poiting to
the current old and stale site/page. Once we have the above mentioned
developer news and status in place it could be worth to generate more
traffic.

For me it is kind of both, the embedded/mobile tailored base component
enabling new usescases, e.g. Hildon/Maemo would have been pretty hard to
imlement without tailored components at hand, but this does not
automatically turn Hildon/Maemo into a Gnome/mobile component.

Thank you a lot for sharing your view!
This helps, at least me, a great deal to learn about the group we are.
Let's continue this open way of discussion, I think we are on the right
track!
