This question is off topic for nautilus-list.

Try posting to gnome-list gnome org or even gnome-devel-list gnome org

In any case, I think your problem is that you are building gnome-libs
from the CVS HEAD, when you should be using the gnome-libs-1-0 branch.

That is, assuming your ultimate goal is to build Nautilus, which is only
known to work with that branch.
