ok, got it to compile and run finally.

I had one more small issue on my travels.  in the file
nautilus/components/help/hyperbola-filefmt.c there was an unused var on
line 1567 and the for statement on line 1547 wouldn't compile when
treating warnings as errors (first statement had no effect).
