[Nautilus-list] Relative paths for custom icons

I want to burn a CD with several folders, many of which I would like to
have custom icons, which will also be located on the CD.  I've been
hacking .nautilis-metadata.xml manually and it seems that custom_icon
requires an absolute path.  This presents a problem for my needs because
one never knows where the CD will be mounted, thus I need to know if
it's possible to specify relative paths for custom icons somehow?

If this isn't possible, could it be considered for a future enhancement?
