this might be out of the scope of nautilus, and more of a
kudzu/supermount thing, but does anyone know of a way to have a
usb-storage device show up on the desktop after being connected?
case in point, i have a usb digital camera, and i just got it to work in
linux. however, i have to mount /mnt/camera each time i plug it in and
turn it on. when i mount /mnt/camera the camera device icon shows up on
the desktop. is there a way to skip the mounting, and have nautilus do
it automatically, like it does with cdroms?
thanks
matt
ps - i apologize if this question is offtopic
