The future milestone was just created a few weeks ago. All the bugs marked
future, were marked future when there was already a "2.0" milestone in
place. So your message is based on a false assumption. Being marked "future"
means, not planned for 2.0.
Our current plans for 2.0 are to do a gnome 2 port and very few features.
Our plate for 2.0 is *already* too full. Moving more of the bugs from
"future" to "2.0" would be the wrong direction :-(
If there are bugs in there that you think are very important for 2.0, then
feel free to changing the milestone to 2.0. But consider that we also have
about 1500 bugs that don't yet have milestones set at all.
We really need to get through this triage process, and the main thing we
need to do is identify the very important bugs, and mark them with one of
the non-future milestones.
