I experienced the same behaviour when I tried to fix the bug about list
view dnd starting only on selected items. I think someone submitted this
"fix" (mine was touching libegg/eggmultitreednd.c). This bug is pretty
tricky as it was about storing gdkevents and firing them at the right
time...
