[Nautilus-list] Mac feature

I thought I would look into adding the Mac like feature of having a
window open when the user drags an item over a folder. Allowing the
moving of items to sub folders without navigating to the destination
directory first.

What area's of the code should I concentrate on to implement this.
Does any one have a suggestion for the method I should use?
