i thinks its not a bad idea to let the user decide what he wants to have
in it (with one ore two preconfigured roots)

better ideas ?
how about a gconf list under /apps/nautilus/media-sidebar-panel/uris
which stores each root entrie like "display_name:uri" ?
adding the home uri is a problem regardless of how to store the uris -
so i think it would be the best thing that at the first start of the
component (when nothing is saved) - the components creates the home uri
and the file:/// uri as default.
