actions for gnome-vfs-uris in the mutli rooted tree node

hi everyone,

wouldn't it be a good idea make it possible (or is it already possible)
to define action's (as alike "run the nautilus-cd-burner frontend")
which can be linked to uris. Then these actions get displayed in a popup
menu when the user is over the uri.
For Example: the user is over the burn:/// uri - make's a right click -
a popup cames up where the user then can choose Burn this cd - which
then opens the burn dialog.

What do you think about this ? Is something like this already in
discussion ?

What would be the best way to do it - so that it is gnome-wide avaible ?
