Re: Regarding Nautilus scripts



A few comments on your thoughts:

These are the sort of tasks which must be performed in a shell. Adding
extra options to configure, checking for no warnings, ensuring the
install went correctly, etc.

Nautilus already has this -- you open the remote machine in a Nautilus
window. There is smb:/// for windows machines, ssh:///, nfs:///, ftp:///
etc.

So much in fact, I think it should be added to Nautilus.

This should be added by the email client, via the MIME context menu
plugins. As a script it would have to sit there and figure out what
client to use.
