Hi Christian ~

I see what you are saying, how the flattened menu/menu item looks
redundant. However the menu names are designed to provide
categorization or grouping, not really a starting point for dynamically
generating sentences of the items.

Take for instance the Applications menu and a fictional application
called 'Internet Browser'

"Applications -> Internet -> Internet Browser" would look redundant in a
flattened view like this, you might think to remove the last 'Internet'
from the item making it just 'Browser'. However each menu is just
providing a category of what menu items it holds and not a prefix for
reading the menu item name. When people read the menu item they now
would only see 'Browser', which isn't the best name for this item.

Each menu item is read as an individual unit, not the concatenation of
the menu name and the item name. I appreciate your work, but I think
the wording should be changed back to the way it was.

Yes, please do that. A message might be sent to the i18n list too to
make sure they know to revert any translations of these new menu names.
