Opening files with spaces in Name

Hi list

with nautilus 2.6.3 i still have Problems opening files with spaces in 
their names. If i have a file named "a b.pdf" on my Desktop and want to 
open it with Gnome pdf viewer, i get

	Loading of file:///home/rebehn/a%20b.pdf failed.

How can i make this work?
