i found another oddity with v2.2.1:
i have shares set up on a win-tel box and through samba, and i can
browse files and directories on another machine. the first attempt to
do this returns a request to log-in to the other machine with an account
name and password -- so far, so good. this works as long as there isn't
a typo in the password. if i enter one mistake, one time, Nautilus will
tell me i don't have permission to browse files/directories on the other
machine. it seems that Nautilus will do this until Bush learns how to
pronounce "nuclear" or i deliberately kill the process (logout & log-in,
and so on). (aside -- it's not clear that windoze isn't a part of this problem.)
it would be nice if i could find a way to 'up' the maximum number of login
attempts when using Nautilus to browse files/directories on another machine.
if there is a way to do that now, i haven't found it. thanks for any advice.
