Ugly trash behaviour

Hi,

If I put some files to trash an ".Trash-olaf" folder is created in the
directory where the deleted file was oryginally placed.
This is a terrible behaviour. Is there any option to have the trash
folder in user's home directory only? Or in some other (admin/user
defined) place? I don't want to have user trash directories scattered on
the whole filesystem.

I use nautilus 2.6.0. I'd like to know if this issue is still present in
2.8.xx?
