Couldn't the location dialog and the run dialog be merged? Run will
after all open a location on the hard drive if you type it in. It
would seem fairly trivial to change the text in the dialog to make it
clearer.
Not to mention that you could make it possible to both type in a file
name, and select an application to open it with.
