Manny asked me to write the list about bug 330181 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330181 This prevents shift+enter from being used while in typeahead mode. I've fixed it for icon view but in order to fix it in treeview some love from GTK will be required (and it tends to be a release cycle or so until we are able to use changes like this). I think we should go ahead with the icon view change anyway since this is probably the majority (>80%) use case. It certainly annoys the heck out of me (whereas only a single directory on my entire computer is in list view). Thanks for the attention. Cheers.
