I'm not sure what you mean here. I do get the name when dragging. Ah, I
see, that only happens in icon view, not in list view.

Adding support for that to list view sounds good to me.

I think there might be some limitations in X that cause problems in
areas related to "nice dnd cursors". But sure, if we can do it we
should. In general i think the reason this is not done (and many similar
issues) is simply one of limited developer resources.
