I don't know, but I solved the problem starting nautilus with

~/nautilus/bin $
XDG_DATA_DIRS=~/nautilus/share:~/gnome-shell/install/share ./nautilus

so I have everything I need. Is there a correct way to set this
environment variable automatically?
