Re: ~/.config/nautilus/accels

Thank you Gregorio for remembering about this matter.
This will allow me a workaround when I use Debian 9, but it seems still
unavailable for Debian 8 because it ships Nautilus 3.14.1*

In that thread I've found the "Stop loading custom accel maps file"
since version 3.15.4 ; this means no solution between 3.15 and 3.20 ,
but I don't understand why it's affecting Debian 8 with an earlier
version of Nautilus.

(*) This version/distribution creates and rewrites
~/.config/nautilus/accels anyway.

Consider that for Nautilus >= 3.20 there is a new feature to set custom
shortcuts (editing the file ~/.config/nautilus/scripts-accels). More
details are described here: http://askubuntu.com/a/696901. So, maybe you
can upgrade the software.

Those references didn't work for me.
Nautilus 3.14.1 on Debian 8

Which program writes to ~/.config/nautilus/accels ?

Sorry; I need to setup these bindings through command line, to apply
customization to many desktop computers.

Ok, but editing files is almost always the wrong thing to do - this
isn't the 1980s [thank goodness]. Configuration files are sometimes
memory mapped so changing them 'underneath' just won't work.

Take a look at dconf/gsettings and see if you can adjust the bindings
that way.

I'm trying to custom some key shortcuts in Debian 8 with Gnome, via
modifying file ~/.config/nautilus/accels
When Gnome restarts (with Nautilus 3.14.1) this file is reset all
settings being restored.
What is the right way to configure this?
Are these bindings you cannot set via gnome-tweak-tool?
