Ctrl+Insert = Ctrl+C
Shift+Insert = Ctrl+V
I see. What about Ctrl+X? Is there any precedent for a right-handed
equivalent in other applications?

Some keyboard distributions make useful the alternative shortcuts when
performing repeated actions massively.
