Hi,
I am using NM-0.3.3.1 with FC3 with 2 wired nets.
If I pull the cable from the main link, it automatically switches to the
second one.
But what is bad is that NMI does not prevent me from selecting to activate
a card without link, which IMO is a bug.
NM will activate this linkless card resulting in loss of network
connectivity.
When I click on NMI, I expect that there is no way I can
select a non working interface, like one without link. It should be
present in the list, but grayed out, with a nonlink indication and non
selectable for activation. Same goes when on wireless and manually try to
select a wired link without link.
If GUI feedback is not so easy to implement, at least we should test if
link is present when we choose to activate a card.
Thanks,
Paul
