That's right; woow, you shouldn't be using HAL CVS HEAD, it's not really
ready for prime time yet :-)

NM will require some very slight patching to work with HAL CVS; notably
it will have to use net.physical_device to get the hal device object
with the physical properties such as name etc.; I plan to send a patch
for that when I start doing unstable 0.5.x releases (in a few weeks).
There's also the D-BUS API change to consider but that's another
thing I'll have to sort out with Dan and John P (for Fedora, that is).
