bcm43xx wired connection

Sorry for not replying to existing post, but I just joined the list.

I have the same problem with bcm43xxx and NM - NM reports it as "wired"
not "Wireless."  I just configured my laptop to use the bcm43xx drivers.
Using NetworkManager-0.6.2-2.fc5 on Fedora Core 5.  

Where does NM pick up and store connection type?  I've verified that
system-config-network shows the type as "Wireless."
