UMTS Device - T Mobile Web And Walk

Hi,

we are using the modem-manager and networkmanager from the current git.

The last checkout was from May the 9th.

It seems that there are communication problems via the AT commands.

This is the USB Device we are try to get work with NetworkManager:

The SIM can be unlocked without any problems:

When I try to start a connection, I get an error via the AT command dialog.

For the last AT commands modem-manager gets no responses from the UMTS device:

Then the connection is dropped with the following error:

May 20 14:41:33 ThinClient NetworkManager[3572]: <warn> GSM modem enable failed: (32) Failed to find a usable modem character set

After that the device doesn't respond to any AT Commands unless i remove it and plug it in again.

best regards

Harald Jung
