Thank you for answer.
iw lis shows this on my card:
Supported interface modes:
                 * IBSS
                 * managed
                 * AP
                 * AP/VLAN
                 * WDS
                 * monitor
        software interface modes (can always be added):
                 * AP/VLAN
                 * monitor
But when I try to 'Create New Wi-Fi Network' it tries to create an
Ad-Hoc connection. Where can be the problem?

I use Gentoo, and so NetworkManager-0.9.8.0 is not available yet I used
a git ebuild that builds NM from git tag 0.9.8.0.
