Hello Deborah,
You can read all those documentations that are in HTML-format.
In the systems/help menu you find most of the documentation readable
except the system-documentation.
The both "abouts" seem not to be readable.
I use Edgy, but I think in Feisty it's the same.
Note: You should download the most recent Feisty, since there were a few
bugs in the former versions including the Beta, so that they weren't
accesssible.
I recommend to use the GUI and the text consoles as well, because
there's still a lot work to do to make Gnome and all its apps
accessible.
BTW: Why do you think that there is more documentation in German? The
opposit is true. A non-english speaking/reading person faces remarkable
disadvantages in using Linux.
