Hi Ian,
what's the problem with w3m?
Just type:
w3m [address]
It will start with the page.
Note: You cannot start w3m empty.
After start up you can press Shift+H to get a help page.
You can also download all the stuff by using Windows, but you have to move 
it in the right place afterwards.
