Hello Using your example exactly, I do not get the correct behavior when I press alt+left arrow. I'm returned to the google web page and my Orca navigation is positioned back at the top, not on the link I'd just used. System info: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 I'm running Ubuntu 9.04, 32-bit, GNOME 2.26.1 and Orca from git master which is up to date at the time of this message. If there's a bug open for this I can attach a debug file to it. If I need to supply anymore info to help, let me know. I, like many others here it seems, didn't even bother to consider this a bug since I wasn't aware it should operate any differently, and no screen reader I've ever used on any platform has ever done this reliably anyway.
