[orca-list] Worst orca performance.

Dear List,
Orca is performing very badly after I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my laptop
yesterday.
Orca was stuttering so badly that, I had to install festival and use it
instead of espeak.
Even now, orca stops speaking when any application is closed
for at least half a minute.
I am using a lenovo laptop which was doing very well with all other
versions of Ubuntu.

Any suggestions/work around?
