Hi Cearbhall:

Orca does not directly control the audio.  Instead, it relies upon the 
underlying speech synthesis system to do so.  For example, gnome-speech 
just talks to the speech engine directly and the speech engine figures 
out where to direct audio.  Because I only have one sound card, I've 
never had the opportunity to dig in to how to redirect the audio of each 
speech synthesis engine or other audio sources. :-(
