Well, I have a lot of options now but I figure it never hurts to have one
more. So I am trying gftp but I cannot get it working. I upgraded my machine
to debian squeeze and installed orcaa from source version 2.27.92. When I
run gftp, I can tab around for a bit but then it always seizes up. Pressing
tab does nothing. I saw in the archives that a couple of years ago, somone
else reported this same problem. Does sftp really work with orca?
[HAR! I almost typed "Does sftp really work with jaws?"]

Try gFTP you will have to open the options and choose gedit as the viewer
and editor. Then you can upload, download and edit files etc using Orca and
gedit.

All,
I do a lot of systems administration and that involves editing config files
remotely. I would like to use a GUI editor, not vi. What's the best way to
accomplish that? On windows I map a share via sftp and edit files in a text
editor called TextPad. That is very nice but I need to do the equivalent
thing in linux.
