You need to use NVDA if you want free and open source access to windows 7.  Orca is for Linux systems using gnome and Unity and, eventually KDE (still under construction on that side of things.)  Here is where to go for NVDA:

Hello,

On windows7 it is not possible to install Orca. For Orca, you have to switch to Linux based Operating systems like Ubuntu.
