The Gnome setting used by older versions of Mozilla to detect whether
accessibility is enabled on the desktop is no longer supported as of Gnome 3.x
and AT-SPI 2. In Firefox 11, I think, Mozilla updated their code to query DBus
to determine whether desktop accessibility is active.
