[orca-list] Custom shortcuts in GNOME Shell

Hi,

I see an interesting thing if I want define some custom shortcuts, based
with single super+letter keystroke my Ubuntu 13.10 system:Shelm.
Look an example:
Well, if I define Launch Gedit application with Super+G keystroke and
activate the command for example in Libreoffice or gnome-terminal,
nothing happening, single the g letter typing in the text box or the
terminal. If I add any modifier key (for example with SUPER+ALT+G
keystroke), shortcut works right. I experienced similar result if I want
define super+letter based shortcut to launch for example web browser.
I think this is happening because the single Super keystroke mapped with
present activities overview, this is not matter of course, good this
default setting.
Have an official awailable solution to have possibility to define single
super+letter keystrokes without need disabling the present activities
overview keybinding or redefine the present activities overview binding?
I founded this bugreport, but I not would like using an unofficialy
extension:

Already resolved this issue in GNOME 3.10?
