You could start with mentioning what version of Ubuntu you are running,
and how you installed it. Did you neable accessibility at install time?
Hello, I am using arch linux. I get the same behavior with both the mate
and xfce desktops. I know that xfce4-panel is not accessible but the
mate panel provides accessibility. One thing worth mentioning is that if
I restart the panel after my lightdm login, accessibility works. This is
also the case with the file managers.
