Seems I don't hear "copied" mostly on https://duckduckgo.com, where I
happened to be when I performed the test. I just tried another page, and
I heard it at the right time. Going back to duckduckgo.com, I selected
some text, and copied it, but heard nothing. Perhaps it simply isn't
copying, as when I pasted what I was supposed to have copied from
duckduckgo.com, I got the text I had copied from the previous page.
However, when pasting it here in Thunderbird, I heard nothing, although
that text did appear. Strangely, when I copied the entire text of this
message from Thunderbird into Pluma, I heard "copied" here and "pasted
in Pluma. Then I deleted the entire text of this message from
Thunderbird, copied it from Pluma and pasted it back, and I heard
"copied" in Pluma and "pasted" in Thunderbird.
In other news, I'm still hearing "cut" sometimes when pressing
control+backspace in Thunderbird. It doesn't happen all the time, but if
I type a sentence and then try to erace it one word at a time using
control+backspace, I will invariably hear "cut" at least once.
Strangely, it's happening in Pidgin again also, although it seems to be
random. Sometimes it happens rarely, but other times it happens quite
frequently.
