I've not Ubuntu 18.04 for testing so what I'll tell you could break your
Orca or your full Ubuntu system.
You can download 3.30 from there:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/cosmic/all/orca/download
And then go with the terminal on the downloaded folder and type the
following command:
sudo dpkg -i NAMEOFTHEDOWNLOADEDPACKAGE
Best regards,
Alex.

Hello Alex,
Using Ubuntu GNU/Linux 18.04.1 with all default apt-sources. Nothing
fancy that I know of.
Can I upgrade Orca while using this?
Thanks,
Frans-Willem

Hello Frans-Willem,
Yes, I'm aware of this issue. You've probably migrated to Thunderbird 60
without updating your Orca version, isn't it? You should have Orca 3.30
to make it working with Thunderbird 60.
What is your GNU/Linux distribution?
Best regards,
Alex.

Hello list,
As I write this message and several more, I can no longer use SayAll or
simple "press cursor up or down" to read the message body of a
mail-message. Orca only speaks "about colon blank" on every
line/sentence.
I presume this has happened upon an update of Thunderbird; Orca has not
recently been updated. Using 3.28.0 under Ubuntu 18.04.1 with GNOME.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? How can it be solved?
Thanks,
Frans-Willem Post
