Are both Logitech Mediaserver and Squeezelite running on the same machine?
How long did you wait after starting Squeezelite?

See the output of the

squeezelite -h

command. There is a parameter to specify the ip address of the Logitech
Mediaserver, but normaly the player finds the server without this
parameter.

BTW.: Switching the theme of Logitech Mediaserver to Classic makes the
webinterface more useable for screen readers IMHO..., the default theme is
a bit complicated :-(.
