Hi Milton,
When I press shift+down thre times orca announces that c is selected.
If after I press shift+down three times I press shift+up, orca announces
that b c is unselected.

Hi José,
I think it is right what Orca says.
With shift + down arrow you select text untill the position of the
cursor, this position is left of C. So C is not selected.
In your example after:
Jump to begin of the file and press shift+down three times.
you can then while holding shift press right arrow C will be selectded.

Hi all.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if this is the expected behavior.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch gedit.
2. Create a new file with 3 lines with the following content:
a
b
c
Do not press enter in the last line.
3. Jump to begin of the file and press shift+down three times.
4. Press shift+up one time.
At least in my environment orca announces that lines b and c have
been unselected.
It seems to me that only line c should be unselected, right?
This behavior only happens if the last line of the file does not end
with an end of line.
Thanks.
