Small clarification. Seamonkey behaves exactly as expected.
It's not Firefox isn't getting or processing the commands, because it
is. It's that I'm not getting the results of those commands spoken as
messages, for instance Orca+T for the time, or the browse/focus toggle
status messages even though the mode is actually being toggled and I'm
not alerted to the change in mode however which is completely throwing
me off. I'm running a bone stock Firefox 90.0 from Solus's repos and
this is the only browser
I'm not sure if there's an about:config setting I can change, I looked
in Firefox's preferences for anything screenreader related and got zero
results, so I'm not sure if it's something isolated to my system, or if
Mozilla changed something on their end between the 89.X that shipped
with Solus 4.3 and the 90.0 that the system upgrade updated Firefox to
however.where it happens. I grabbed Seamonkey and Firefox ESR and both
work flawlessly and exactly as expected.

Does Orca+T work when you're not inside a Firefox window?

This is running Solus 4.3 with the Mate desktop, which is the latest
Mate version

However. I'm running into a weird issue. Which is. Firefox
ignores
Orca's key commands in a strange way. For example. Orca+T doesn't
work
when in a Firefox window. However browse/focus mode and moving by
heading or table works, and even announces table with so and so
in
it.
So is this an Orca issue, a Firefox 90 issue or something I've
done
to
Firefox to break it...issue?
I don't currently have a debug.out since I'm on a brand new
system,
unfortunately. I'm usin the default version of Orca that Solus
4.3
ships
with which was released this week, so 40.0. I can try seeing if
orca-master fixes it but I've not go around to building that yet
however.
So has anyone else experienced Orca doing this with Firefox or is
it
only me that's got this strange behavior with FF90 and Orca 40.0?
