From memory you need to restart pdigin after installing a plugin so it
detects the plugin's been installed, or at least that's how it's worked
on my system though

Hello,
Thank you for your answer.
I am trying to install TdLib purple into pidgin.
As was described in repo, I added the repository to sources list,
everything was fine.
Then I executed the command:
sudo apt install tdlib-dev -y
After the installation I couldn't find tdlib in pidgin.
Or how should it work?
Thanks for any help!

There is a libpurple backend for telegram so you can use it with
pidgin if you like.

Reportedly even voice calls are supported.
