Re: [orca-list] Announcement: this mailing list will be retired by the end of Oct 2022

Hello,

Great, as we have another vote against GoogleGroups, will close the list and people can disregard my first message. As I am unwilling to deal with the troubles of Freelists management and am unwilling to pay for another Groups.IO group, anyone else can and hopefully will create the new list.

Thanks.

I fully agree. Joanie reply is what I wait now.

In any case, if we want al alternative mailing because Discourse does
not provide any solution to be handeld via mail only, I think the google
group is the worst solution. I would suggest instead group.io,
framalist, freelist, but certainly not Google ones. Getting involved
without google account might be a problem, today or in the future.
