This is the source code, not the distribution. You should be able to
build a non-GTK interface on top of the released package libplanner
(which is the directory libplanner in the CVS module planner ;)

There are numerous website building tools out there, all with there
strength and weaknesses. I think movable type will suffice nicely for
this for now.
