Good and bad news...
Let's start with bad one... I've some difficulties while compiling
libgnomeprint... Hope that I can overcome with some solution soon...
Good news is that Gnome 2.6 is being ported to netinstall (main tree of)
cygwin so there will not be long time when it's possible to run planner
in "native unixsh" style setup.
Thanks for the status update!
You're welcome. A bit difficult to keep up with coding since there real
life is making lot of efforts to interfere...
Other than compile problems, are there big differences in the way you
print on unix and windows? That is, does it need changes other than
build related?
Well... Now I got around compile problems (well there was errors in
compilation but I brutally ignored those since it didn't stop me
compiling further... )
Answer to difference... Yes, it's very much different way... (Unless you
have PS capable printer)
Windows way of printing is to draw what you need on "printer canvas"
(same way as you do like drawing on screen). Then you just send page to
printer (actually driver) and printer (driver again) takes care of the rest.
