On second though, we should probably make autogen.sh bail if it can't
find automake 1.7 and higher, since we're using features that doesn't
work with older versions (or at least we used to do).
I don't see anything automake >= 1.7 specyfic in planner am files .. but
ok I'll look on this.
I just downloaded a new clean CVS copy of Planner (Changelog was 1.127 and
autogen.sh is version 1.4) and tried a ./autogen.sh --enable-gda=yes;make
and it don't work unless I revert the autogen.sh file back to have
automake-1.7 and aclocal-1.7
Yeah, I suspected that. Tomasz, can you please revert that part of the
patch? We should probably add a check in autogen too for 1.7+, but
that's not that urgent if we add back the default value.
Hmm .. ok but what is displayed as error messages ?
I'm using:
$ rpm -q automake autoconf
automake-1.8.5-1
autoconf-2.59-3
without any problems.
I't wil be good know what is realy incorrect instead blindly reverte
change in autogen.sh.
