In the interim, you might want to use Cygwin to fire up X on Windows
box, ssh to a Linux box, export your display, and launch planner.  I
find that method to be quite successful for users here that are in a
similar situation. 
   Good idea, except he lives on a laptop and works all over the place.. 
I've suggested just that, but couldn't make it fly for that reason. 
Native or bust, I'm afraid.  Been a lot of years since I did any win32
builds, but what the hell, I'll stoop for a good cause.. ;-)
