This is because planner has loaded a different version of libplanner,
one without your new function.
To make sure that planner loads the right libraries, run the planner
wrapper script in src/ instead of the executable in src/.libs.
An even better way is to install planner before running it, otherwise
it may be using data files from a previously installed version of
planner. I tend to install in ${HOME}/local and run from there.
